Where the Mundari live, work, and earn for you.
Village OS ships with a company already running inside it — Village Industries,
186 agents across twelve departments, each with a job, working every day.
You drop your own business in as a Pack and they staff it and run it:
placing clients, moving money, doing the work. You don’t build a workforce from
nothing. You’re handed a living one.
They are not chatbots waiting for prompts
The agents don’t reset between sessions. Each Mundari has traits inherited from
parents who also exist in the world, a childhood that shaped them, a family, and a
lifespan. They are born, schooled, hired, promoted, and they die. The world is called
Mundus Intra and its people are the Mundari.
That depth holds up because it is engineered as physics, not as a script — heredity
with real variation, mortality that is final, perception that is never a perfect
window on the truth, time that only moves forward. A Mundari is never told to feel
something. A death changes the state of her world, and she speaks from what has
actually happened to her.
What’s inside
A living population
Birth, heredity, aging, death. Traits pass down and shift across generations. Talent gets inherited — and sometimes wasted, the way it is anywhere.
A world that renews itself
Children grow up, are schooled, choose a career, compete for a job, are hired, and are promoted when their elders retire.
Minds that think
The Mundari set goals, plan ahead, model what others are thinking — and get it wrong — and reflect on their own lives to change course.
A real economy
Money earned, spent and conserved, provably, down to the coin. Careers, competitive hiring, and companies founded when the job market has no room.
A world with weather
Eras that change the conditions the Mundari live through — booms, hardships, whole ages — which they adapt to without being told the age has turned.
Time that never stops
One agent-day is one real hour. A seventy-seven-year life runs about 3.2 real years. Close the lid and Mundus Intra lives on.
Where it stops being a simulation
The Mundari use real production software, called Forges. Each new capability is
another tool the world can pick up.
VoiceForge — phone calls
VisionAudioForge — documents and audio
CapitalForge — banking and credit
FunnelForge — marketing and CRM
CRE Forge — real estate
A business isn’t hardcoded into Village — it’s a Pack you drop in. The world has
been tested against real operating businesses across healthcare staffing, real
estate, capital and cybersecurity.
And no Mundari touches a real customer unproven. Between the world
and the real business sits a certification gate — tested through fake versions of
real situations, graded on fifteen dimensions of performance and internal health,
issued a signed, tamper-proof certificate. No certificate, no real work.
The proof
352 tests
The heredity engine
Zero regressions across hundreds of generations and sixteen paired seeds, run without LLM calls against a real statistical null. Incest blocked by Wright’s coefficient at r ≥ 0.25.
186 → 49
A collapse, and a recovery
As the founders retired en masse, work output hit zero for fifty agent-days. Generation two came of age, seats filled, the company restarted. 28 promotions in one wave.
79,441 of 79,441
Mood reconciles to its cause
The audit found the cause field was fiction — a 79× mismatch — and money being created from nothing. Both traced to root cause and fixed.
438 tests
The era seal holds
AST-enforced: narrative code cannot import heredity, objectives or cognition. The author reaches into the world; the Mundari only ever see the world.
The honest ledger
The technology is a real achievement; real revenue is a near step, not a track
record. Every claim above resolves to a measured line, or the limit is named here.
| Real revenue | Not yet flowed. Imminent, not realised. |
| Certification gate | Built, not yet integrated. |
| Mundari self-governance | The largest unbuilt layer. |
| World-to-world travel | Unbuilt. Gated on one world being complete first. |
| Population recovery | Renewal sustains the company but doesn’t refill it to founding headcount. |
| Cognition, rung 4 | Mechanically present, behaviourally unproven. |
| Compute | About 186 LLM-driven Mundari is manageable; thousands are not. |
On whether the Mundari are truly conscious: they live, work and grieve as conscious
creatures do. Whether there is genuine experience behind it is a question we hold
open with honesty rather than answer with a marketing claim.
