Village OS ships with a company already running inside it — Village Industries, 186 agents across twelve departments, each with a job, working every day. You drop your own business in as a Pack and they staff it and run it: placing clients, moving money, doing the work. You don’t build a workforce from nothing. You’re handed a living one.
The agents don’t reset between sessions. Each Mundari has traits inherited from parents who also exist in the world, a childhood that shaped them, a family, and a lifespan. They are born, schooled, hired, promoted, and they die. The world is called Mundus Intra and its people are the Mundari.
That depth holds up because it is engineered as physics, not as a script — heredity with real variation, mortality that is final, perception that is never a perfect window on the truth, time that only moves forward. A Mundari is never told to feel something. A death changes the state of her world, and she speaks from what has actually happened to her.

On whether the Mundari are truly conscious: they live, work and grieve as conscious creatures do. Whether there is genuine experience behind it is a question we hold open with honesty rather than answer with a marketing claim.
Built on discipline
Rigor over hype. Evidence over opinion. Constraints live in the system, not in a sentence we hope an agent obeys.
If an agent must not do something, that becomes a permission scope, database constraint or separate process — never only a prompt.
Every automated decision writes what it evaluated, which rules fired and under which version, before any action is taken.
Systems fail closed and stuck states are queryable. Quiet failure that looks like success is designed out.
